To facilitate highway resurfacing, Hope Street will be closed to all traffic on from Monday 8th to Friday 19th September 2025, between 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs each day.

Service 390 will operate as normal to Well Gate, then turn right into Wesley Street, forward Wesley Street to Shepley Street and pick up normal route.

Trans Peak from Derby to Buxton - will operate from Five Lamps, via Kedleston Road and Broadway.

Due to utility works, Macclesfield Road will be closed between 8am and 5pm. 

58 service from Buxton to Macclesfield - will operate the normal line of route to West Road, then it will turn right into Burlington Road, left onto St Johns Road, continue on St Johns Road to Burbage, where it will pick up the normal line of route. 

Bus Stops Missed: Wye Head Close, Cavendish Avenue, Burbage Way. 
- Passengers can use the bus stop outside The Duke P.H.

Hayfield Road will be closed by the Fosters Shop between 9:30am and 3:30pm. 

190 Service from Buxton - will operate as normal to Chapel, Morrisons, then forward onto Market Street, left onto Sheffield Road, left onto the A6 by-pass (Chapel), continue on A6 to the Fickle Mermaid roundabout, where it will take the 1st exit onto A624 to Ferodo roundabout, take 3rd exit onto Hayfield Road (A624), back on its normal line of roue to Shall Cross. 

190 Service from Shallcross - will operate the normal line of route to Buxton. 

Bus Stops missed: Hayfield Road (Fosters), Burrfields. 

For the duration of the closure, passengers can use the bus stop outside the Old Park Horse on Market Street.

B5470 Macclesfield Road, RainowDate: Monday 20th January 2025

Road Closed: B5470 Macclesfield Road, Rainow
Date: from Monday 20th January 2025. 
Service 60

Due to a road collapse between Rainow and Kettleshulme, an emergency timetable is being introduced, with the majority of journeys on the route curtailed to operate between Macclesfield and Rainow only, and between Kettleshulme and Hayfield only.

There are a limited number of through journeys between Macclesfield and Hayfield, which are diverted between Whaley Bridge (Horwich End) and Macclesfield via the Cat & Fiddle and Long Hill, with increased journey times as a result.

All journeys will operate as service 60 - but the Stoneheads Estate in Whaley Bridge will continue to be served on a reduced basis. Please see the timetable for full details.

We will be reviewing the temporary timetable as the closure is expected to be for up to six months.
