Between 8pm and 6am, the 199 and 185 services will start from the bus stop outside Buxton Rail Station on Station Road (A53).

Due to water utility works, Macclesfield Road will be closed on Monday 27th October 2025, from 6pm until 6am. 

58 service to Macclesfield - will operate the normal route to West Road, but then will divert right into Burlington Road, continue on Burlington Road, turn left onto St Johns Road, and continue on St Johns Road to Burbage, where it will pick up the normal line of route to Macclesfield. 

58 service to Buxton - will operate the reverse of the above. 

Bus stops not served: Wye Head Close, Cavendish Avenue, Burbage Way.

393 service to Padfield - Will divert from Talbot Road, right into North Road, forward North Road, left into Cemetery Road, forward into Park Road, left Church Street, forward Newshaw Lane, right Green Lane and pick up normal route.

393 Service to Glossop - Will operate the reverse of the above route.

B5470 Macclesfield Road, RainowDate: Monday 20th January 2025

Road Closed: B5470 Macclesfield Road, Rainow

Service 60

Due to a road collapse between Rainow and Kettleshulme, an emergency timetable is being introduced, with the majority of journeys on the route curtailed to operate between Macclesfield and Rainow only, and between Kettleshulme and Hayfield only.

There are a limited number of through journeys between Macclesfield and Hayfield, which are diverted between Whaley Bridge (Horwich End) and Macclesfield via the Cat & Fiddle and Long Hill, with increased journey times as a result.

All journeys will operate as service 60 - but the Stoneheads Estate in Whaley Bridge will continue to be served on a reduced basis. Please see the timetable for full details.

We will be reviewing the temporary timetable as the closure is expected to be for up to six months.
