Road Closure: Milford (A6)
Date: Monday 2nd to Wednesday 4th March 2026 (07.30hrs to 16.30hrs)
Service affected: Trans Peak
Due to an emergency road closure of the A6 (Derby Road) at Milford, Transpeak services will be diverting via the following route:
Towards Derby - from Belper Bus Station, it will turn left into Chapel Street, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto New Rd/A609, forward A609 to roundabout, take the 2nd exit into Short Street to the roundabout, take 1st exit into Nottingham Road (A609), forward Nottingham Road A609 to Rawson Green. At traffic lights (Subaru dealer on left), turn right into Derby Road, B6179, then exit left onto slip for A38 (s/p Derby A38), forward A38 to roundabout (Little Eaton Island), exit into Abbey Hill, take slip road to A6 and pick up normal route from Palm Court Island into Duffield Road.
Towards Belper - from Palm Court Island, it will take fourth exit onto A38 (s/p The North A38,M1), forward Abbey Hill to Little Eaton Island, onto A38, exit onto slip (s/p Kilburn B6179, Belper A609) and continue heading to B6179 Derby, at junction turn right into B6179, at the traffic lights turn left onto A609, forward A609, then follow the one way system Nottingham Road (A609), onto New Road to the roundabout.
Bus stops not served: Meadow View (Belper), Babington Hospital (Belper), Becksitch Lane (Belper). New Inn (Milford), Hopping Hill (Milford), Makeney Road (Milford), Strutt Arms (Milford), Co Op (Duffield). Allestree.

Due to re surfacing works Milford Road, Duffield will be closed at 7pm each night, until 5am each day.
Trans Peak services to Derby - will serve Belper Bus Station as normal, but then divert via Bridge Street (A6) and The Triangle. At the traffic lights, it will turn left onto A517 (Bridge Foot, Bridge Hill, Ashbourne Road) and then at the Railway Inn, it will turn left at the traffic lights into Wirksworth Road (B5023), when entering Duffield Village, it will turn left and continue to the end and then turn right onto Derby Road (A6), back on normal route.
Trans Peak services to Matlock - will operate the reverse of the above.
Bus Stops not served: Meadow View (Belper), Babington Hospital (Belper), Becksitch Lane (Belper). New Inn (Milford), Hopping Hill (Milford), Makeney Road (Milford), Strutt Arms (Milford), Co Op (Duffield). Passengers can use the bus stops on Town Street and Derby Street (A6) for the duration of the closure.

Due to carriageway resurfacing of the A6 (Derby Road) at Duffield (jnct Broadway), Trans Peak services will be diverting via the following route, between the hours of 7pm and 5am.
Towards Derby - from Belper Bus Station, it will turn left into Chapel Street, at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto New Rd/A609, take the 2nd exit into Short Street, forward Short Street to roundabout, take 1st exit into Nottingham Road (A609), continue on Nottingham Road to Rawson Green. At traffic lights (Subaru dealer on left), it will turn right into Derby Road B6179, forward Derby Road, at the slip road it will left onto A38, at the roundabout it will exit onto Abbey Hill, then take the slip road to the A6, where it will pick up the normal line of route at the Palm Court island into Duffield Road.
Towards Belper - from Palm Court Island, it take fourth exit onto A38, forward Abbey Hill to Little Eaton Island, continue on A38, then take the slip road at the Kilburn B6179/Belper A609 junction, continue on B6179, until left turn for Belper A609, where it will continue on A609, via the one way system on Nottingham Road (A609), onto New Road, back on its normal route.

Date: Monday 16th March to Friday 3rd April 2026 (19.00hrs to 05.00hrs)

Due to carriageway resurfacing works Chapel Street/Bridge Street Belper will be closed to all traffic between 7pm and 5am each day.
Trans Peak from Buxton - will operate as normal to Broadholme (A6), then take a sharp left into Broadholme Lane, continue on Broadholme Lane to the junction with Fisherman's Rest PH, turn right onto Circh Lane, bear right onto Chesterfield Road (B6013), at the junction it will bear right onto Cheapside, then onto New Road (A609) to the roundabout, where it will take the 1st exit onto Derby Road (A6) and pick up the normal line of route.
Trans Peak from Derby - will operate the normal route to Belper roundabout, where it will take the 3rd exit onto New Road (A609), continue on New Road, turn left into Chesterfield Road, then bear left into Crich Lane, continue on Crich Lane, left into Broadholme Lane, then turn right onto the A6, back on the normal line of route.
Bus stops missed: Queen Elizabeth School, Mill, The Lion Hotel, Belper Bus Station.

Due to gas main renewal, we will be unable to operate via Waterside, between the above dates.
Services will operate as normal to Station Road, then turn right into Bankbottom, forward into Broscroft, right into Padfield Main Road and pick up the normal route.

Road Closed: B5470 Macclesfield Road, Rainow
Date: from Monday 20th January 2025.
Service 60
Due to a road collapse between Rainow and Kettleshulme, an emergency timetable is being introduced, with the majority of journeys on the route curtailed to operate between Macclesfield and Rainow only, and between Kettleshulme and Hayfield only.
There are a limited number of through journeys between Macclesfield and Hayfield, which are diverted between Whaley Bridge (Horwich End) and Macclesfield via the Cat & Fiddle and Long Hill, with increased journey times as a result.
All journeys will operate as service 60 - but the Stoneheads Estate in Whaley Bridge will continue to be served on a reduced basis. Please see the timetable for full details.
We will be reviewing the temporary timetable as the closure is expected to be for up to six months.
