Due to water utility works Dinting Road will be closed to all traffic between 30th May and 1st June.
393 Services towards Padfield will divert from Talbot Road, right into North Road, forward North Road, left into Cemetery Road, forward into Park Road, left Church Street, forward Newshaw Lane, right Green Lane and pick up normal route.
393 Services towards Glossop will operate the reverse of the above route.
Bus Stops missed: Howard Park, Spire Hollin, Vicarage, Rail Junction, Rail Station, Shaw Lane, & The Sycamores.
Road Closure: Waterswallows RoadDue to water utility works, Waterswallows Road will be closed to all traffic on the above date.Wednesday 7th June 2023 (08.00hrs to 19.00hrs) Service 190
The 190 service towards Peak Dale will take the following diversion: - continue on the A6 from Fairfield Common, turn right onto Batham Gate Road, right onto Waterswallows Lane and then pick up normal route.
The 190 services operating to Buxton will operate the reverse of the above route.
Buxton Half MarathonThe Buxton Half Marathon will start from Buxton Opera House at 10.00hrs and will proceed along St. Johns Road towards Ladmanlow. With the runners still in a group there will be a full rolling road closure for this stage of the race, and this will directly affect:Sunday 28th May 2023 10.00hrs to 13.00hrs.
Service 58 - The 09.55hrs departure from Buxton to Macclesfield is likely to be delayed around the Burbage/Level Lane area for about 15mins.The Half Marathon will then cross the path of the Transpeak service at Sunnyfields, Burlow, Harpur Hill, and London Road (A515).
There may be a partial road closure along these points but as the running field should be quite well spread out in these areas this may not be necessary.However, drivers are advised to proceed with caution at these points along the Half Marathon route.
Road Closure: Boarstones Lane, FairfieldTuesday 30th May to Thursday 1st June 2023 Service 185
Boarstones Lane will be closed to all traffic to facilitate water utility works.During this closure, between 07.00hrs & 16.40hrs, 185 services will operate the normal route from Fairfield Centre to Chatsworth Road, Granby Road and Victoria Park Road but will then turn left into Bench Road and then pick up the usual route from Queens Road. Please treat the bus stop at the top of Bench Road (at the side of Queens Court) as a two way stop.
The evening departures from Buxton between 17.40hrs and 19.55hrs will operate to Bench Road, turn right into Victoria Park Road, right Lathkill Grove, left Bench Road and pick up normal route from Queens Road.
Bus stops not served: Fairfield Centre (at 31 & 01 past), Junior School, Boarstones Lane, Tongue Lane and Queens Court.
