Covid-19 Update: This service is operating every two hours, seven days a week.

Connect with service 199 at Buxton to travel through to Stockport and Manchester Airport.  Through fares are available.

Service Updates

Matlock Bridge

Due to electric cabling works, Matlock Bridge (off Crown Square) will be closed. The closure will affect the southbound Trans Peak journeys (Buxton to Derby);

Trans Peak to Derby - Will pick up as normal outside M&S, continue to the roundabout, turn left onto Bank Road, left into Imperial Road, left down slip road into the Old Bus Station, turn right onto Bakewell Road (A615) to roundabout, left into Derwent Way (A6) & pick up its normal line of route. 

Trans Peak to Buxton - Will not be affected & will operate its normal line of route from Derby to Buxton.

Derby Bus Station

To assist with social distancing, buses entering Derby City will use different stops for boarding and alighting passengers.

Passengers on the TransPeak service will need to alight in Derby, Morledge and will not be able to stay on the bus and alight in Derby Bus Station.

Derbyshire Wayfarer
